When\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Covid<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 19 hit in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>March<\/span><\/span>\u00a0we made the decision to keep working for as long as possible and furloughed\u00a0<\/span><\/span>non-essential\u00a0<\/span><\/span>staff where we could. Our expectation was that we would be forced to mothball operations at some point.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0That did not happen!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our staff members have been amazing during this crisis. Despite the imposition of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>lock-down,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>social distancing and hygiene requirements they have soldiered on and handled unprecedented demand from our customers.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have now arrived at the point where, frankly,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>our team<\/span><\/span>\u00a0need<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to take a break. Rather than rotating individuals onto annual leave and putting more pressure on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the remaining staff members<\/span><\/span>\u00a0as a result<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0we have decided to close our offices for a full week so that everyone can get some much needed rest and<\/span><\/span>\u00a0the opportunity to<\/span><\/span>\u00a0re-connect with family and friends. As lockdown measures are now starting to ease we think that August would be the best time to take this break.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, our offices will be closed from 3pm Friday 7<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span>\u00a0August 2020 and will re-open at 9am on Monday 17<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span>\u00a0August 2020.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

During this<\/span><\/span>\u00a0period our customers will<\/span><\/span>\u00a0still<\/span><\/span>\u00a0be able to place orders<\/span><\/span>\u00a0with card payments<\/span><\/span>\u00a0up to \u00a310,000<\/span><\/span>\u00a0through our website but orders will not be processed until our return to work.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In order to minimise delayed dispatch and disruption there is a minimum order value of \u00a3250 in place during this busy period.<\/p>\n

We would encourage all of our customers to place planned orders in the next week to avoid delays in dispatching.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PLEASE DO NOT SEND PARCELS TO US FOR DEL<\/span><\/span><\/strong>IVERY DURING OUR OFFICE CLOSURE<\/strong> as they will\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>remain in the postal system until our return to work.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whilst we appreciate that these arrangements may cause some inconvenience, for which we apologise, the wellbeing of our staff members and our ability to continue to provide outstanding service to our customers in the months ahead are of great importance to us.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
