The eighth addition to the Queen’s Beasts collection released by The Royal Mint, sculpted by Jody Clark. The obverse features the latest coinage portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the reverse the White Lion of Mortimer, displayed in all its majestic glory whilst holding a Yorkist shield bearing a ‘white rose en soleil’ (golden sun).
With a face value of £100, each is exempt from Capital Gains Tax in the UK. Weight 31.1035g (1t oz) of fine gold content, 24 carat gold. These coins make excellent and beautiful gifts.
