Celebrate a symbol of prosperity with this 1oz gold bar from the Lunar Legends Series, featuring the Legend of the Three Goats. As the fourth release in the collection, the design represents renewal, harmony and good fortune in Chinese tradition.
Reverse Design – Legend of the Three Goats: Inspired by Chinese folklore, the reverse features three mountain goats, symbolising good fortune, harmony and family prosperity.
The design reflects the saying San Yang Kai Tai, associated with the arrival of good fortune and auspicious beginnings. Together, the three goats represent a fresh start, prosperity and positive aspirations. Obverse Design – The Hour of the Goat: The obverse celebrates the Goat's place in the Chinese zodiac.
It depicts the twelve animals of the lunar cycle as stars surrounding the moon, with each animal representing a two-hour period of the day. Positioned eighth in the zodiac cycle, the Goat is associated with the hours of 1pm to 3pm, with 2pm marking its peak. Chinese characters on the design represent this time.
Measuring 24 x 41mm, the gold bar is sealed in CertiPAMP packaging and presented with a gift sleeve.
