The UK Gold Sovereign, known as the ‘chief coin in the world’, is minted from 22 carat gold by The Royal Mint in the UK. This coin is enclosed in official blister packaging for additional protection during transportation and storage. Each coin is individually certified for weight and purity and is a beautiful gift and investment alike.
The 2022 Sovereign mintage features a rare change to the reverse of the coin with an interpretation of the Royal Coat of Arms, by Timothy Noad, to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As this is the last Sovereign mintage to feature the portrait of Her Late Majesty, these coins will be in great demand by collectors and investors alike.
These are British legal tender gold coins and therefore free from CGT and VAT Free.
