Royal Danish Mint

The Royal Danish Mint goes back, in some ways, as far as 1739. In 1975 administration of the mint was moved to the National Bank of Denmark. Increasing demand for bullion and coins led to the building of a new mint in Brondby in 1978. The Royal Danish Mint is represented by the Royal Norwegian Mint.
